Old Flower (Day 3500)

I topped up on painkillers before heading in to town to pick up some stuff at the merchant's, then along to plumb in a kitchen sink at the house extension I have been working on when needed. It took me about 10 minutes to realise that the sink needed a hole cut in it for the tap, and the instructions indicated it needed to be a drill suitable for drilling tiles. I visited all of the suppliers in town but couldn't find one the right size. I even went home to check I didn't have one lurking in the garage. Back in town a bought the only one that was close to the size I needed. The label said it was £74! The guy on the till discounted the price to £29. Still a hefty price to pay for one hole, and a waste of time.
Back at the job I fiddled around and got the sink fitted and the pipework sorted out in the cupboard. I've managed to make it reasonably neat.
I finished up mid-afternoon and collected more painkillers before heading home to my beautiful wife.
