Poinsettias! One of our stops today was Longfellow’s to marvel at their greenhouse filled with more than 20,000 poinsettias, over 50 varieties, in various shades and sizes of white, red, pink, green, even speckled. It’s impressive and colorful and cheerful and festive!! • Too bad they’re poisonous to cats • It was so good to get out of the house after numerous days spent babying my knee. Of course we first had breakfast at the diner then visited several places looking for specific gifts. We may have picked up a few things for ourselves and the kitties too ;) • I also wanted to pick up some groceries but we decided to wait another day for that. My knee needed to get home and that’s where I am now, in a reclining chair, a heating pad and a cat! • A little snow coming tonight. We could get a trace amount up to 4”, none of the forecasts are in agreement • The dear deer are enjoying their apples • Peace & Love
