Lanzarote Day 1

Our first full day on the island. After a leisurely start, we decided to have a drive from our base (in Playa Blanca) in the far south western corner of the island, to very near the top. We stopped for lunch on the way and then took a stop at the beautiful Mirador del Rio. The weather was a pretty decent temperature all day but when fully exposed to the wind, you needed a couple of layers. We stopped at Playa De Famara on the way back where I (Chris) took the blip. Annie decided to head onto the beach (I didn't fancy getting blasted by sand in the wind!) and she took the extra. Back to our accommodation via the supermarket and we cooked up pasta for dinner. A lovely day.
