Lanzarote Day 2

We were up and out promptly this morning to drive up to the north of the island. We took a short (but quite rough) ferry crossing to the small island of La Grasciosa. Here we hired bikes to navigate our way around the island for the day. Annie wisely picked a bike with electric assistance, I didn’t and quite soon regretted it (!) but it was good for the fitness. We rode right up to the top of the island to the beautiful beach blipped here, so peaceful and a lovely temperature. We then rode on to see the Los Arcos de los Caletones (see extra) which was spectacular. We rode back to catch the ferry to the mainland, I was very relieved to get off the saddle.
