Gold Medal

In a departure from my current Christmas theme, this was the prize for the winning team this evening. The Gold Medal was first played for in 1894 and it's always a pleasure to see it. As well as the medal, there is a gold pendant on which the roll of honour continues.

Himself played in the final this evening and was, once again, a runner up.
