The Feast Day of Saint Eulalia de Merida. Martyr. Patron of torture victims. Widows. Runaways.

Born 290.Spain Died 304.Spain.

It has been a pleasant, cold, dry Tuesday.

I went to the Parish Church to take some tinned pineapple to the foodbank.

I had a chat with a kind lady there and then walked home.

I listened to Holy Mass from St Marie's Cathedral in Sheffield online and then prayed the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary for my family and friends and world peace. Prayer time becomes more of a spiritual joy the more regularly you pray. The distractions of the world become less important but I still organise my day to make time for housework, cleaning, tidying, dusting, washing and drying clothes and all the essential daily tasks. I enjoy watching Downton Abbey at tea time.

Within half an hour my new wardrobe is going to be delivered and I am very excited. I have cleared out the old wardrobe and chest of drawers which once belonged to Maria. Paul dismantled it and stored it in the garage. Thank God for the garage. It is too small for our Renault but it provides excellent space for Paul's tools and extra things.

I hope you enjoy today and thank you for visiting my site blip friends.
