It has been a busy day here but enjoyable.

It has been cold damp air but no rain. 4c most of the day but feeling 2c. The swampy lawn is gradually drying out, but more rain is forecast tomorrow afternoon.

Paul completed the wardrobe and I am very happy with it.

I delivered some Christmas cards and took the bumper issue of The People's Friend to my friend Jenny.

I have blipped the new cookie cutters that we will be using tomorrow. We are good at Scottish Shortbread but gingerbread is something we hope will work out successfully. There are many spices needed, nutmeg, cinnamon, ground cloves and ground ginger. I think the kitchen will smell wonderful.
