Brights lights against a dreary dark sky
It’s 4.30pm. I’ve spent much of the day doing fairly pleasant chores, after going to the health centre early on for a blood test. Mainly I’ve been putting books and DVDs back on my shelves. I really did try to declutter and put some books into the charity shop bag, but I only managed two, and one was the autobiography of Aung San Suu Kyi. I find I have to be careful decluttering - the other day I chucked out all the Christmas decorations from my early childhood onwards. As I don’t like Christmas and almost certainly won’t get a tree. Then I read lots of blippers saying how much they were enjoying seeing baubles that dated from their childhood - and I went and got them all out of the bin again:-))
This is the cinema I go to with H on an out of town retail area with lots of parking spaces. I also go to the art house cinema in the city centre for more serious films, either by myself or with other friends. We saw Moana 2 today, and I thought it was delightful. I believe it hasn’t taken too many liberties with Polynesian mythology - and the heroine is just great. Yes I know it’s a kids film:-)
