DGMEFM Network Festive Lunch
I have been awake since 4am due to my asthma flare up following the chest infection and fibromyalgia flare up so it has been a long day. Very chilly here today, I have been as well wrapped up as a packet of pigs in blankets! :P
Final day of my latest course of Prednisone tablets. Hoping I don’t need another round.
Have had a productive day. Went along to the first face to face meet up of the local fibromyalgia/ME/CFS/Long Covid support group I have ever been able to attend, I have been an online member of the group for a number of years.
We had a lovely free, Christmas lunch at a restaurant in Dumfries. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive. I was grateful that the venue was near where I live.
I have put a few extras in, great company and lots of laughs. It has helped me feel more in the festive spirit after my months of relentless flare ups.
I got over 12,000 steps in for my Alcohol Change UK paced walking fundraiser (see extras). Ready for bed!
Feeling it tonight but it’s worth it to support the charity make a difference to reducing alcohol harm in the UK.
Cosied in a blanket with a comforting, hot cup of herbal tea and honey listening to music to recover and rest up :)
I received a very encouraging kind, encouraging email from the charity this evening which I will Blip in my extras tomorrow.
If you would like to support me, here is the link. It would be much appreciated:

I will catch up with Blip between this evening and tomorrow, thanks for all your kind comments and my apologies for being so behind with Blip in recent months due to my health.
