New toy

I couldn’t get it to work to begin with but twenty minutes after giving it to one of our young folk it was up and running. They closed the blinds so they could see the light show. It’s so restful to watch.

A large order of goodies as year end gifts finally arrived, I was expecting about four boxes for the lot but the packers clearly thought it would be fun to send it in over 20 boxes, all different shapes and sizes. Thankfully a young chap offered to help me get it all to the car or it would have taken me ages.

That all assembled and ready to distribute, I got some more recruitment done and just like that, the day was done.

The less than good news for the day, our lawn mower is going to cost more to repair than it’s worth another visit to collect a new one tomorrow. Hopefully that will be better packed.
