Sgwarnog: In the Field

Probing

I often see one or two Jays at Moorside. Today this one remained engrossed in its probing of the heather as I walked along the path. A little further along, a Kestrel was hovering above the slope

Later, I was back over to Guiseley for more football. Leek Town were the visitors making it second top v second bottom in the table. For much of the game you would have guessed the positions were the other way around, with Leek much sharper, first to every ball and generally looking more up for a Tuesday night game.  It was the Staffordshire team that took the lead mid-way through the second half, but Guiseley responded well at that point and were able to summon up a late equaliser. 1-1 the final score.
