The big wheel is another of the city centre Christmas Fair attractions, and looks impressive all lit up after dark.

Later, 17yo came over for dinner for the first time since her ice skating incident and subsequent hospital repairs. She is quite cheerful about the whole thing, but her writing/drawing hand is out of action for several weeks while her finger hopefully heals up.
