Plumbing tools

Our house is heated by a geothermal system with underfloor heating.  To keep costs down, we run it overnight on reduced price electricity.  So it was probably several days before it was obvious to me that the heating was only working upstairs. 

During our "meet the neighbours" weekend we had been given the name of the local plumber who fitted most of the standard plumbing, and when we met him, he gave us the name and number of the chap who fitted the heating system.  So once it was clear we had a problem, W contacted him.  

And he came yesterday (with a mate with the rather unfortunately topical name of Darragh!).  They found a broken pump, replaced it, and this morning we are warm again.

We've also found a local roofer using the gardening WhatsApp group, and he popped round yesterday to look at our small job - he'll fix it on Saturday.  Local contacts are essential!

In the evening I went to the flute group - we're doing a concert on Thursday, so quite a lot of practising necessary before then!
