Fahrenheit 451
I have wanted to read this book for years, and finally borrowed a copy from my parents. The blurb on the back describes it as a 'terrifyingly prophetic novel of a post-literate future' and I thought it was the best book I have read for ages. Although published in 1953, I could relate it to social media, virtual reality, youth violence, censorship, as well as book-burning. It even has robot guard dogs like Mar-A-Lago! Terrifyingly prophetic indeed. I also like that Bradbury was devoted to libraries.
