To the rescue .....

You will be pleased to know that some of Santa's little helpers came to the rescue and successfully reattached his arm. He is off now rounding up presents. 

I handed in my local Christmas Cards this morning and walked back through the grounds of the Atholl Palace and came across some hair ice. I was surprised to see it - whilst it is certainly cold enough it has also been quite dry. 

I handed in my written assessment for Modal a Dhà this afternoon - the deadline is Friday but I have two Christmas lunches coming up and so I wanted to get it out the way. There is also a limit, I think, to how often you can proof read something.  

I have my oral assessment tonight - this takes the form of a conversation with another students for about 10 minutes. It should be OK but I will be glad when it is over. A glass of wine beckons the evening (along with Shetland which is increasingly unbelievable but fun).
