Rhubarb Emerging

First of all - a huge thank you to all for your kindness for yesterday’s blip milestone..I am way behind acknowledgements and replies - hope to catchup in the next couple of days. Of course I now only have two weeks until the 11 year blip ‘anniversary’…

We had a trip to Northallerton today - to exercise the ‘big car’ ahead of a weekend trip..poor car sits on the drive for months on end so we needed to make sure that the all was well and the battery fully charged…somehow the manual charger never seems to register the battery as full. Also filled up with diesel which set me back almost £100!!

We did partake of a festive lunch while we were out - roast turkey and trimmings - very nice it was too. That’s it then - over for another year :-)

We spent way too much on presents, and ‘luxury’ food bits from Lewis & Cooper - which is a very nice (and expensive) delicatessen.

Home without a blip (of course) so I popped into the garden to photograph some of the newly emerged rhubarb..a four shot focus stack…light provided by my LED panel. It is an early variety - and typically begins sprouting around this time of year - we begin cropping early in the year!
