A Grey Day

I managed to find a bit of bright colour on a rather dull, overcast but thankfully dry, day. Decaying bramble leaves often turn this bright red, orange and yellow hues in autumn…always good for a blip. At least it’s not another model kit. I did spot a kestrel sitting on a wire - see extra - but it was a long way away so it’s not a great shot, but always nice to see (unless you are a mouse)…

EDIT - Just realised that this is my 4000th blip...wow - never thought I would get this far....it will be 11 'blip' years in a couple weeks time!!
Made a couple of batches of soup today, roasted tomato and red pepper and then carrot and coriander..there is plenty to go in the freezer!

Bizarrely, a parcel arrived for me today - from BT - with an Ethernet cable in - to connect the new fibre ‘Optical Network Terminal’ box to my router..just a day late really. Fortunately I had one (well several actually) lying around in my ‘useful’ box, so the engineer was able to connect the new fibre to our router! Would have been frustrating if we had been without a connection! Thank goodness for useful boxes…
