Limp sort of a day. Bit down actually. Booked a hotel for two nights for the funeral in Yorkshire the weekend before Christmas. Bit of cleaning and shopping. Ms R put a Christmas tree up in their lounge. I had to go looking for it at the bottom of the garden, along with a box of decorations. 

Just finished reading Karla’s Choice, a new George Smiley novel written by John Le Carre’s son, Nick Harkaway. Excellent, but you probably need to be a Circus fan to get it and enjoy it as I did. 

Trip out to Horsham tomorrow. Getting colder so need to wrap up.
