Blackfriars Chapel.
Blackfriars Chapel on South Street St Andrews. The ruin is only surviving part of a Dominican Church built in 1525. The mullioned windows stand out in the almost silhouette. And the pointed barrel-vault roof is notable against the blue sky and backdrop of Madras College. Naturally there’s a seagull not far away.
A foggy, hoar frost day, with patches of blue sky in town. And lovely sunset at our house.
We enjoyed our log stove this evening to back up the gas central heating. -3c all day, colder overnight. And we watched a programme on Disney Channel Nat Geo on Grand Canyon.
