Lincoln Castle Illuminated

Brian decided we should treat ourselves to season passes for the castle. They give us free entry to any events organised by the castle as well as the castle itself and the wall walks. 

Tonight we took advantage of them straight away, to go to the Castle Illuminated event, and to go up onto the walls as well.

The views of the Cathedral and over the city at night were amazing, and it was wonderful to see all the illuminations in the grounds too. Tonight was one of the special dog friendly evenings and there were many lovely dogs (and the odd scary one!) in their Christmas coats too.

In other news today, someone came to service the boiler at last. It's all good now so we can rest assured we will have heat and hot water for the foreseeable future.
