The Commander of US Indo-Pacific Command Admiral Samuel Papároslo said that North Korea sent troops and military gear (!!) to Russia. In addition to interesting zoo animals, North Korea will get Russian Mig-29 and Su-27 fighter jets. I am surprised Russia has fighter jets available to give away, maybe Russia promised this in the future. North Korea received food, money, and military technology in exchange for artillery shells. The fighter jets are supposed to be older but still capable. Russia no longer makes them. They don’t have many. There are some used in one training regiment. There were some used by Wagner group in Libya. There are some in storage that need to be refurbished which takes time and money. North Korea is used to working with “vintage” equipment. 

Drones attacked an oil depot in Russia, causing a massive fire. The damage can be seen on satellite images. Ukriane’s Defence Intelligence says 2 locomotives supplying the Russian army burned down as part of this. 

The acting governor of Rostov Oblast in Russia said Ukraine attacked an industrial facility with missiles. Social media shows loud explosions.
