A Red Sky in the Morning……..

This felt the coldest morning so far on my journey to Porty. It is my wont to travel in my bathing costume with a jumper and Dry Robe coat on top which means I sport bare legs. I certainly felt the cold air whistling round them today for the first time. On the way home I do wear jogging pants so they have nothing to complain about then.

The sky at dawn was absolutely stunning and we 4 dipping stalwarts took endless pictures as the colour spread until with first light the clouds were suffused in pink. That sky preceded a lovely sunny morning but with little warmth in the sun. It has now become cloudy and quite dreich as the light goes after a short day.

There seems to have been much turmoil  down at the beach over this last week with the most coal dust I have seen deposited at high tide level and lots of dead ‘sea mice’,  kind of marine worm covered in bristles making it look like fur……ugh!

The mess on my patio is gathering pace and to add to its woes the workmen have dislodged a join in a down pipe and muddy water from the cleaning of the balconies above has been reaching into the farthest corner where I had pushed my patio pots to protect them from what was going on with the scaffolding. The result is a muddy mess and where are workmen today? I know not but they are certainly not here. Their  work ethic leaves much to be desired as does their ability to clean up after themselves.
