Christmas lights

A crazy busy working day. Think one of my major “before Christmas” tasks inched closer to completion, but another idea that I thought had been dropped returned to bite us. When a manager’s comment is that they’re not going to write a letter without advice from our legal team, it gives an idea of how contentious it may become. But by kicking it until the new year it largely becomes someone else’s problem.

Did duck off the laptop for a short while this morning as someone popped round to give me a quote for resurfacing the drive/patio. It’s a vast area so as anticipated it was a large number. He also had some interesting ideas about the garage.

So when I turned the laptop off I had a brisk walk up to Tesco, and grabbed a blip of the Christmas lights on this house. Not my house, as after the last year, I’m only engaging in a few aspects of Christmas this year.
