Blackford - Family Grave
The day started off with a superb sunrise. There was also a magnificent sunset last night. I just stand and stare in wonder at the show the nature gives.
It was another sunny but cold day. Temp was 0 but when there is sun it makes everything better.
We picked up Saffy and headed out on our walk stopping in Dobbies for a wreath to take through to Blackford in the afternoon.
Home for lunch and then down the A9 to Blackford. As we neared Auchterarder we saw the grey gloom hanging over it and it lifted a little in Blackford although it was odd cos one side of the village was covered in low grey mist and the other side had some blue. The second year of taking a photo which I always sent right away to Mum. I know she would be getting on at me for not having had the gravestone engraved with her name but it wasn’t straightforward with the way she had written this, and I need to get the plot out into my name…. And her ashes are still upstairs in the wooden box in my study, and I talk to her daily….
We stopped off in Auchterarder in Kisa for soul. I didn’t realise the brocolli was ‘cream of’, which I don’t like! Too milky. And it was served far too hot. I did say to the waitress when she asked if everything g was ok that it was still too hot and she said it’s because it’s in a tureen. I didn’t argue with her that it need not be like that as the Rose house has their soup in a tureen and it’s perfect supping temp . And the cappuccino was also too hot and too milky and too hot. So basically S had my food as well S the chickpea curry he ordered. ‘Doesn’t like wasting’. He doesn’t even enjoy broccoli but to be honest there wasn’t much broccoli in it. A fail for Kisa from me.
We got home and it was still sunny in Perth. What a difference just a few miles makes.
