FAIRY LIGHTS
Quite a busy day for me. Firstly I walked down to the village and at 11.30am I caught a bus to Neils village. Neil and Luna met me at the bus station. There is a Co-op quite near the bus station so I popped in to buy a couple of packs of grapes. Then we walked to Neils house.
Stayed there for around 1½ hours. Neil is still on holiday from work so we were able to spend the whole time together without him nipping upstairs to check his computers. Luna was excited to see me and she had some treats I had brought her. She was keen to show me her new teddy bear. Neil took a photo of me and Luna... and the bear. See Extra.
Neil and Luna walked me back to the bus station and I got a bus to the Metrocentre. Had a quick shopping trip there. Got a few things in Savers and Poundland and also some cheese for Neil for Christmas from The Chuckling Cheese Company. Would have stayed longer at the Metrocentre but I had to get home in good time to go to slimming club.
Did a few chores when I got home and then walked to the Church Hall. It was a cold evening and I was glad to get indoors. It wasn't a proper meeting tonight as our consultant is on holiday. The members who are in the Social Team manned the " pay station" and the " weigh station". I was pleased to lose 2½ pounds. This takes me half a pound below my actual target weight. Good to get below target as Im sure to put loads of weight on over Christmas and New Year. I got a lift home leaving around 6,30pm.
Ive added an Extra of our Slimming World Wreath. Its our entry into the Christmas Wreath festival which is being held at the Church this Saturday. Our wreath was made by Brenda
Had my evening meal and fell asleep in the armchair for a while.
Took my blip shot in the Metrocentre. The Abstract Thursday theme is 'transparent abstract' . My shot is of some of the clear fairy lights which are strung around the glass walls of the malls. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
