BRRRRRR....

When Canadians decide to share they don't hold back....they share the whole enchalada.  They shared a Cold Front with us last evening and this was the result that showed up on my weather station this morning at 05:48.

Static outside temperature was -4°F. (-20°C.) with a Wind Chill of -21° F. (-29°C.).   By 08:00 it was -9°F. (-23°C) with a Wind Chill of -27°F (-33°C.).

How cold was that?  DAMN COLD!   It warmed a bit during the day but the wind was always strong, about 20mph (32kph), so the wind chill was way below zero all day.  My weatherman says it's more of the same for tomorrow morning until the Canadians shut off the faucet.  Warming is scheduled for the weekend and into next week.  But you can't trust my weatherman....he lies all the time.

But he has a sense of humor about it.  A while back he told of a phone call he received from a local viewer who said, "I thought you'd like to know that I just finished shoveling four inches of Partly Cloudy."
