Tiger Moth
We had a little trip about Dorset today, starting at Compton Abbas airfield for Lady Pilots Day. However, the pilot of the above Tiger Moth is a chappie. There was a lady Tiger Moth pilot, but she flew off with a passenger, whereas the one above gave us a bit of a display. He was an R.A.F. Pilot during the Falkland's War and flew Harrier Jump Jets.
Next we visited Thomas Hardy's birthplace, a very quaint little cottage
Feeling a bit peckish we headed into Dorchester where we found a lovely vintage shop, called Re Loved, that had a tea room upstairs. Highly recommended if anyone's in the area. They have a shop in Wareham too, now on our list of places to visit!
A lovely spur of the moment day!
