A rush abouty type of day

M's tablet, after 8 years,  has kind of reached the end of it's life.  A new one has been purchased and l took it up to John Lewis to have all data moved over to the new one.  I am perfectly capable of doing this myself but l have learnt over the years to leave these things to others.  So glad l did, ran out of juice on old one, passwords lost, incompatible files, non standard USB charger (not to mention the fact that the stores wifi went down twice).  Several hours later done by a (thankfully) tenacious French man, a quick rush home and out to a meeting for 17:15.
Today will be a leisurely one, l am meeting a friend in town and going to the British Library exhibition of the Silk Road.
