Coaldrops yard

It was busy down in town yesterday,  on the tube going down, in the station (lots of people with suitcases rushing  around, where are they all going so early in the season?) and out on the streets.  I, and friend V went to the British Library to see two exhibitions - the Silk Road and the town of Dunhuang, a place we stayed in a couple of nights whilst visiting it's sights (in fact that is where the wee turquoise teapot l posted on 10th December is from ).  An excellent and imaginatively curated display. We also saw a great exhibition called 'Medieval women'.  M and l have been watching Wolf Hall on replay so it was interesting to see and read about bit more about that time. We later bought a delicious samosa in the Christmas market and had a mocha to warm up.
This photo was in Coaldrops Yard when l stopped at the Samsung place to get a fast charger for M's new tablet.  It was a cold and grey day.
