The Illusion of Democracy

I thought this was an odd phrase for a public mural in east central London but then I realised it was a beautifully executed piece of graffiti.

Up to London to get my hair done in the morning - ready for Christmas.  Noemi was also in Liberty, up to join her new team for their festive dinner.  We met by the Frederic Malle stand and had a Pret sandwich together outside catching up on a few things.  The end of our era.  Very sad but happy for her too, it’s a great new job.

I went over to Dalston to see C and her new twins.  They were tiny and adorable and she seemed in good shape. Not easy for her.

Then I hopped on the Mildmay line. I love this new idea of naming the London Overground Lines, it makes them SO much clearer. Before this my brain would have sent me back to find the Central or Lizzie line to get over to B/C and the babies.

We picked the children up from nursery and spent a lovely hour and a half with them before hopping over to Waterloo, just missing the 7.30 which gave me time to buy a salad to eat on the 8 o’clock which was civilised and timely.  V was out to dinner so got back at bedtime.
