From bud to bloom

It seems only a couple of days ago that I spotted fresh buds on this orchid, and today it was in full flower! Thanks to Flower Friday host, BikerBear/Anni. 

This morning our daughter took me out to do some Christmas shopping. Somewhere quiet. It was so good to be out with her. Granny B looked after the young master, to give us space. Everyone is so kind. 

When we got back his mum gave TYM a banana, which he immediately gave to me. We then raised our bananas to each other with a resounding cry of "Cheers!" I love that little boy's sense of humour!
