The Long Path

Once again we were in East Devon today where my mother-in-law is still in Hospital. There have now been 4 occasions when we thought we might not see her again, but somehow she keeps on bouncing back, though bouncing might not be the correct term. She has multiple health problems and is bed-bound at the moment, though manages to be fairly cheerful. At 93 years it has already been a long road for her. My blip photo was taken today in the grey conditions and shows the path connecting the main beach at Sidmouth with Jacob's Ladder. The long path seemed somehow to also encapsulate the feeling of the family at the moment.
