Current knitting project

I continued with the Christmas cards today, and Roger helped me out by addressing the envelopes, and took them to the post office, where amazingly it wasn’t very busy! By mid afternoon I could feel I was coming down with a cold, and after doing a bit of knitting in the evening took myself off to bed early. The knitting project is for our Prayer shawl ministry, and I came across it half completed earlier in the week, when I was looking through some drawers in our spare bedroom. I’m not sure now why I put it aside. I was approaching the end of a skein of yarn, so one possibility is that we were about to go on vacation, and rather than taking up space in the suitcase with a half completed shawl, I decided to start a new project, and then forgot about it! Anyway, whatever the reason, it is now on the go again. I’ve used the word shawl, but I’m doing this more as a lap blanket, suitable for a male.
