Beavering away

Today was fun.

I went down for a swim first thing. It was less cold than Monday and the water was lovely and calm. There were even two swans there when I first arrived.

Back home I got changed and caught up with personal admin before heading down to the Dam Cafe for the Dell Dippers Xmas Lunch. There were must have been nearly 40 of us there and it was really enjoyable. That is two Christmas lunches done and two more to follow next week.  

I then spent the afternoon working on my family tree blogs - I have three to finish to complete my set of 24 in 24 and catching with my crafting advent calendar, which I am slightly behind with. The beaver was from today and fun and easy to make.  I am rather fond of my hedgehog but creating the spikes takes time and so I try and do a few each day. I've just started the Gingerbread train - I've never made anything like this before and am enjoying trying a new approach.
