Silk Tassel Bush?
The only photo all day as we were walking around Bearsted Woodland Trust. It’s an evergreen, native of western North America. Its usual habitat is Chaparral or dry forest ridges. An interesting choice for a Woodland Trust to have.
Same weather as for the past 10 days, if not a little colder. We had lunch with eldest son Matt which was a very enjoyable time. He’s just been promoted at BAe Systems from the top of the Professional Grade of software engineers to the Executive Grade. A worthy and well deserved step up.
He signed my POA as an attorney. Witnessed by his mum. Almost there with the POAs, only the Scottish representatives to sign and witness.
Called in at Dunelm to buy two curtain rail end stops as one, inevitably, broke when rehanging the curtains. Wouldn’t you guess it, one of the wall brackets broke (inevitably) when putting the rail back up. I have no spares, so another trip for a 99p packet of accessories…
