The headless knight - Stone Tableau
This one began life as an in-camera multiple exposure image taken as I walked around the Barbara Hepworth Family of Man sculptures at YSP, so it was green image (taken in July). I wanted something figurative so went hunting for The Knights of Iona. And yes, the knight on the left is headless. Finally I had a play with changing colours. Maybe I could have opted for something a bit more dramatic.
The image I actually took yesterday was the Peace Lily- fairly boring, but I’m also trying out the Samsung phone which I want to use as a lightweight alternative to my camera for creative work. One of the things that JC said to me when we returned from Tuscany was don’t stop being creative - so I’m keeping that at the forefront of my mind.
Collected Amazon parcel from PO Wortley and called in to fruit and veg shop in Thurgoland. They are developing all the time, expanding their space and selling a wider range of produce.
Health: first day of taking double dose of medication. Felt a tiny bit nauseous in the morning. Muddled up timings for eating and taking meds for the 12 noon pill - food half an hour before or an hour after taking. Felt tired a couple of hours (around 2pm) but avoided sleep and played with the knights images. Again feeling tired around 8pm, but once in bed ( and playing with images again - with some music on) I turned the light out around 11.
