Bach’s Magnificat

The elders flowed into the large Episcopal Cathedral in pairs and threes. Sprinkled among the grey heads were the younger folks. Many seemed to know one another and in the break between pieces there was lots of connection and conversation. The Baroque Orchestra was in fine shape with only one instrument strangely out of tune, and it was obvious the choir had practiced for months. There were various solo singers to highlight the story they were singing. A story as old as time. The poor shall be lifted and the rich shall get their due. Ho hum.
