Sun, sun, sun!

Well we must make the most of it and so we set off for a longer walk from home.
Over to the pond where I counted 22 mallards.
Their plumage shining out in the sunshine.
Noticed the village well now has a very nice canopy. Repaired by the village Preservation Society. Presumably this is what it would have looked like originally.
It was the only water source in the village before piped water and it was last used in the drought of 1936.

A very nice walk back home across the fields.
Passed three highland cows blocking our way but they took no notice as we walked round them.
Took a photo of my shadow just to prove we had some sunshine!
Although only 3C it felt warmer, but we were well wrapped up.
Have heard it is going to reach 13C tomorrow!

Day 14 of the cheesy advent calendar and it is Cheddar.
