Nostalgia

Today my lovely sister and niece drove over to see us. Jane walked in carrying this much-loved ornament from our childhood home in which she'd planted hyacinths. Imagine my delight! 

OK, I thanked her through tears, but that's how it goes at present! Dear Mr PP cooked us lunch and the sun shone for the first time for weeks! 

Now exhausted, but they're safely home and it was so good to see them.
