A luminous grey
A quick trip in to Bantry to get things I'd forgotten yesterday, so taken was I with the humans in the market, and then as the day was soft and not too chilly, we went on to Glengarriff to do a gentleish walk. It was mainly cloudy but a bit of sunshine filtered through and the sea and sky was steely and luminous grey.
We watched the most extraordinary film last night -Godland - a Danish film, about a Danish priest who was sent sometime in the late 19C to build a church and tame the congregation in a very wild and remote part of Iceland. It was very strange and incredibly beautiful, with extraordinary cinematography and it lingers with many unanswered questions and thoughts.
