Dock

I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watchin' the tide roll away, ooh
I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

And very nice it was too, just catching the last of the light, not a soul around and all still and luminous.
I've actually been very busy and didn't even blip yesterday. There was a mad flurry of activity re the holy well arts project with The Artist - three zooms wall to wall as we attempted to impress various Arts Officers that we were worthy cases for large grants. We shall see. I'm not sure there are large grants available and everyone is very encouraging but opaque. In the evening it was the Christmas book club bash with delicious food and chat followed by a film (The Man Who Invented Christmas) and more chat. L sent us all a  gps reading for where her place was - somehow I ended up outside a cow shed. Topical but not the right place which was rather glamorous.

And today's big news - Joe has arrived safely in Bristol and is now ensconced with his bro. We have been tracking him, mesmerised as flew across vast nothingness in the Pacific, wend his away across North America, sped over Ireland (we waved but I reckon he went over Dingle) and then approached Heathrow - so many other planes milling around and there was a queue to get in. Initial reports are that it all went smoothly and the food was good! Goodness know what the time is with him, we can't work it out. But he's here!
