Frank

This is Frank, who was once Minister for State in Bruges. I was particularly drawn to this sculpture, as it's not often you see one with glasses and such a characterful representation! Also thought it would make a gd blip :))
We went to Bruges on the train today and made the most of getting there before the real crowds. It was still busy and rather wet but we enjoyed wandering, seeing the interesting architecture and many chocolate shops. Back in Ghent we had a lovely mooch in a huge art supplies store, then played games while drinking a 'winter beer'.
Today was warmer but got wetter and wetter and there are SO many people everywhere. We have changed our plans and instead of going back to Paris before heading home, we are going back a day early, direct from Brussels. It s been interesting, but we are just not 'city' people!!
