Strawberries and Mud

Finally, after days of greyness, we’ve had sunshine. The sky was blue and then as the sun went down, the landscape was cast in a warming golden light.

Today I made mince pies so the house is now feeling festive. I’ve also been to the allotment to put down more wood chip and to continue to dig up one of the strawberry beds - it had become overgrown and unproductive. I’ve decided that as I’ve another two beds of strawberries, I’m going to get rid of this one and use it for growing other things.
