Christmas in London

My work's Christmas do today (preceded by a 'festive staff meeting' in the office).  Such a tiring day, but so glad I made it; it was really lovely to see everyone, and to say goodbye to our office, which we're selling in the new year.  My second home for (most of) 23 years (though admittedly much less so in the past few, since Covid and remote working)!  We had a lovely lunch at the Globe in Moorgate, and my old boss came along for drinks afterwards (bit of an awkward moment when our CEO spotted her - no love lost between the two of them - and made a hasty exit).

I somehow managed to stay until around 6pm, and then to drag my knackered self back to Greenwich, for another night in the hotel there (thankfully).  Once again, I was in my PJs early, and ready for a mega sleep!
