Hairy Clematis

We used to have a clematis whch produced lovely silver hairs like this once the flowers had subsided, but ours died a few years back (memo to self: get a new one next year). So I was pleased to spot this one on a garden fence during my morning walk and grabbed a shot of it for my blip.

This afternoon we spent a lovely couple of hours visiting Grandson A - he's such a charmer at almost 7 months old, full of smiles!
