Santa getting into Practice

It's been another busy day, moving lots of furniture (and cleaning up) in the bedroom in which some of the carpet (and floorboards) had to be lifted to install new pipework for our new shower room - the bedroom will be needed from Thursday when Son#2 and his partner arrive from Bath for Christmas. So on my morning walk I took a quick shot of these fun Santas practising climbing rope ladders - presumably that's what Santa uses to climb down chimneys safely?

However I have found time to announce the Hearts and HMs from last weekend's Silly Saturday challenge in memory of Admirer. the results are on the challenges page but I'll repeat them here.

My Editor and I had real fun again, looking through the entries – thanks again to everyone who took part. As usual it took us a while to refine our list of Hearts and Honourable Mentions, but here’s the list we ended up with (in no particular order):
 
HEARTS:
DonnaWanna – with a magnificent pareidolia face saying, “It’s hot today!”
Tigger101 – monkey business (I certainly feel like that sometimes!)
Hanulli – with a really silly-looking rat - and  fab silly version of The Night before Christmas to go with it
Radiogirl – such cute pigs in blankets, very seasonal!
Isbi – her brave granddaughter upside down gave us a good chuckle
 
HONOURABLE MENTIONS:
KangaZu – Cheddar Cat emerging from a Christmas Tree
BikerBear – Very silly to take photos in a loo, but we love the icons on the signs
C1aire – The elf on the shelf looks decidedly worried!
Freuchie – We couldn’t resist that silly tongue
Carol_Dunham – She was very brave to show us her Christmas face!
