The illuminated tractor run
This morning I went to the annual Christmas Jumper Day at my neighbour's house. It involved coffee, mince pies and lots of chat. She opens her house and garden twice a year for Save the Children and has raised thousands of pounds over many years.
This evening was the annual Illuminated Tractor Run. 100 tractors decorated with lights drove from Oswestry, round the countryside through villages (incuding mine) and back to town with horns blaring.
It's to remember a 26 year old farmer nicknamed Choc who died from a brain tumour and is in aid of a local cancer charity. It was led by Choc's Tractor driven by his dad. Last year it raised £1200 for the charity and hopefully will be successful again.
There are a couple more tractors which are extras.
