Community Tree

Another day, another Christmas tree.
This morning we walked up to the Post Office opposite the village green, and bumped into friends C and C who were waiting for a few other people to arrive to help them to put up the community Christmas tree. It had been scheduled for last Saturday but Storm Darragh put a stop to that. Well of course we couldn't just walk off and leave them waiting, so ended up involved with the tree decoration. It became a  very sociable event as other friends came past. Our lovely local vicar  helped out too but we kept her safe by  stopping her  from climbing any ladders.  
As you can tell from the photo, at last we saw blue sky and the sun today, which were very cheering sights!
