The Community Tree at night

I visited my Mother this afternoon, and we finally finished writing her Christmas cards (hurrah!). There's a lot happening  at the Care Home. This week a donkey visited. He even went to see some residents in their bedrooms! This coming week is a gala Christmas lunch, carols and the Pantomime (featuring my Mother as the Ugly Sisters' mother).  
Later, I walked up to our  local green to see how our community tree looks by night. I think it is clear we adopted  "the more the merrier" approach to the lights and decorations!
