Tinsel & Turkey

A rare winter work day.   Two weekends of trains were scheduled but last weekend was blown away by storm Darragh.  As well as a train ride, travellers could add on a Christmas dinner at Kings.   Not all did, which was just as well since those who had eaten well in Tywyn were not hungry when they reached Aber!   Not a busy day but a good time was had by all, the closure of the line above Abergynolwyn leading to a longer than usual stop at the cafe.   

Otherwise, little to report.  I'm still tired from the virus but otherwise pretty much recovered.  Todays report from the hospital suggests mum is much the same as yesterday.  No longer on the acute ward, she's still very poorly though.   Hard times.   A gentle day at work was a good distraction.
